In deep communion with the Holy Spirit,
I saw a display of His power.
The mighty rush of a river
That ricocheted from one bank to the other
A switchback coursing the side of a mountain.
The sound of the swishing rose and fell
In cadence with Christ’s heartbeat.
From the stream that danced
And rippled and skippled before me
I ladled up a bit and looked it over carefully.
I found microorganisms thrumming
With the life and pulse of Spirit-power.
I dipped a finger into the fluid
And gently touched it to my tongue.
Ahh. A sweet nectar I had only before imagined
Cross-pollinated from veins of gold in heaven
To those on the earth.
From the eternal to the temporal.
From explosive glory to glory.
In this nectar was recklessly undeserved grace.
I sipped from the basin of the ladle
And immediately felt my body enter into sync
With the ruach of the Spirit.
Ruach. Wind. Breath. Spirit.
Elohim’s ruach receded the flood waters after Noah’s voyage.
When the ruach overtook me,
I gently leaned the ladle against a branch at my feet.
And now, in my cupped hands,
Memories of damaging past sins against many
Clung to one another like grains of choking, smoking dust.
And then it happened.
A shaft of sunlight poured from heaven
Illuminating the cinders.
In a moment of magic
That only He who stirs with breath from heaven can pull off
The ruach Spirit swept across my palms.
“There is no greater miracle
Than My force that drives the east wind from the west wind,”
He whispered.
“So far have I removed your transgressions from you.”
Up, out, and away rose all memories.
Up, out, and away flew knowledge.
Up, out and away flew experience.
The power of all heaven surged within me.
And then I heard it.
The sound of a brilliant Redeemer.
The sound of a brilliant Redeemer.
The sound of a brilliant Redeemer.
The sound of every river, pond, stream,
Breaker, and wave.
Deep crying out to deep.
Every waterfall cascading,
Unfurling, uncurling,
Rush upon rush upon rush
Manifesting His glory.
The ruach wind of dove-rushing wings
Gliding over the crest of high places,
Silently releasing the Savior’s favorite miracle:
His next.

Lynn, thank you so much! And yes, some of the best ruach in is found in Christ’s gardens. Elohim, bring it!
