I’m Healed of Fibromyalgia! This is SO Going Out on Facebook Part 2 of 2
Written by Lynn Hare on January 21, 2014
Dead guys don’t always stay dead. And chronic illness doesn’t always remain chronic, either.
In a recent post, I’m Healed! This SO Needs to Go Out on Facebook, Jesus touched a man in a coffin and brought him back from the dead.
I prayed for a miracle like that. I needed new life. For thirteen years, I had chronic cycles of fibromyalgia pain and fatigue. I asked God to touch me and fortify me. I asked Him to penetrate my brain fog and give my little gray cells a clue as to how I could cooperate with Him in the process. In Part 1, I shared how getting rid of toxic thoughts permitted them to be released at the cellular level.
The game plan:
- Install a high-quality water filter. Mine produced high-alkaline, ionized, reverse-osmosis water. The water kicked toxins out of my body and strengthened and energized me. Once I got the filter, I drank the water regularly. After two months, the symptoms were gone and I was pain-free. YAY!
- Increase your exercise. I felt the toxins kicked out as I perspired.
- Be bold and keep asking others for prayer. I’ll be honest. I was embarrassed to approach the prayer team at church Sunday after Sunday. Same Lynn. Same story. I wondered if they questioned my level of faith. I faltered when I saw others getting healed but no results materialized right away for me.
- Surround yourself with friends who believe in you and encourage you. A group of friends, led by Sylvia Rogers, learned how to break the bondage of disease through Biblical tools for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. We absorbed Biblical truths and encouraged one another.
Our heavenly Father knows how circumstances overwhelm us. He listens as we spend time with Him. Practicing His presence brings restorative healing. How? The more time we spend in prayer, the more He fills our senses and we come to know Him more deeply.
As friends and I prayed together, God peeled the fibromyalgia off a layer at a time. Thirteen years after its onset, I was amazed and delighted to celebrate complete healing.
Hebrews 10:35,36 says: “So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.” Persevering in prayer, we find our confidence in the person of Jesus Christ, the Fulfiller of promises for us.
Now you catch me saying:
“Jesus, thanks! Hug?”
“Who would like prayer right now? I have faith for healing from fibromyalgia.”
“ This is SO going out on Facebook.”
“Jesus, where are You off to next? I’m going with You.”
“Where are my shoes?”
Who’s encouraging you in your walk with the Lord as His presence restores you? Who are you encouraging?
