Co-Co Completes a Good Work in You!

Written by on April 13, 2018

Here’s a bit of fun with Co-Co, my nickname for the Holy Spirit, our Comforter and Counselor, who warms you up like a cup of cocoa.

Today the Holy Spirit is highlighting the verse, “He who began a good work in you will complete it” (Phi. 1:6). Today, I’m feeling anything but complete!  I’m meeting with a friend to talk about my marriage, and my marriage is so far from being finished!

But God doesn’t expect us to have things polished all the time.

We can settle in with Co-Co, and like enjoying a cup of cocoa, we can enjoy His presence, and ask Him what He’s completing. I feel like I’ve done my part in the natural to see what God has for us to explore in the future. I’ve put in early hours, and stayed up late working on some projects.

But right now, the ball is in His court! And it’s His time to complete it. So, I’m speaking forward for you and me the completion of what Co-Co has for us in this season.

By the way, the Greek word for “complete” in this verse is “Telios,” the name of our software business! God is completing you and me in the marketplace, too.

What is Co-Co completing in your life right now? How are you embracing the process?

Rise to freedom!

Yes, “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” He is working trusting Him in chaos, uncertainty and “bad things”. Giving up the idea that putting Him in charge of my life makes it go the way I always thought it should go. LOL. He is faithful, and I can relax into His arms.

Yes, I love that verse, Susan. We can do that, especially when we don’t deserve it! I surrender my attitude to Jesus EVERY DAY. The relaxing into His arms seems to come easier when I rest. . . which I’m gradually learning to do.
