Where the Spirit of the Lord is

“Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
(2 Cor. 3:17, NIV)

As passion-hearted disciples of Christ, we follow after a loving God who continuously declares freedom over us.

  • Our Father doesn’t chain us or condemn us to legalistic rules. He sets us free to love as He loves.
  • Jesus, our co-heir, doesn’t coerce us into matching achievements of those who’ve gone before us. Rather, He releases us to express ourselves with creativity, true to our unique DNA.
  • The Holy Spirit doesn’t quench the flame in our souls. Instead, He lights a strike-anywhere match, fans the flame, and sends us out to multiply it.

In what area are you learning to love as God loves?
In what area are you stretching and expressing yourself creatively?
In what part of your community does the Holy Spirit need you to spark a fire?
